Wrapping material<\/h2>\n

What kind of wrapping material should you choose for your gift hamper and how to make sure the wrap stays in place? The first thing to remember is to organize all your gadgets properly. The tallest object should be in the centre and the smallest towards the front of the container so you have a central point for wrapping. It also helps create the perfect look design-wise.<\/p>\n

Clear wrapping<\/h2>\n

Now, if you want, you can use cellophane to hold your gift hamper together. Cellophane is very easy to work with which is why it is so popular. It’s also affordable and comes in a wide variety of colours. In many cases, people even choose to use more than one sheet of cellophane as it tends to break if mishandled. Place your entire sheet of cellophane on the table and place your basket on top. Now we need to make sure that the corners of the cellophane not only reach but exceed the highest point of the basket. If necessary (depending on the size of the basket and the cellophane sheet), it may be necessary to cut the cellophane. If the cellophane is too small, you can wrap one layer first and then wrap another to cover the open spaces. Therefore, one piece will be oriented north to south and the other east to west (perpendicular to each other). Secure the top point of the cellophane in place with clear tape. Once you’re done, you can cover the ribbon and add that special touch by wrapping a decorative bow around the top.<\/p>\n

Wrap fresh produce<\/h2>\n

If you’re shipping fresh fruit, you may want to avoid covering the gift hamper with plastic or any other material. Instead, decorate the basket by weaving some colourful raffia. Adds a charming touch of personality and livens up the basket even more. This is because the plastic wrapping can cause condensation inside the hamper which can cause the fresh fruit to perish faster.<\/p>\n

Over the course of a year, you’re bound to receive a number of boxes. Instead of throwing them away, keep them! You can compact and flatten them for easy storage if needed. When the need arises, you can select the ones you need and cover them with suitable wrapping paper. These themed gift boxes make great gift hamper containers and never have to wrap them again! The lucky recipient can even use the box to store items or you can use it when you want to send a gift to someone else, such as gift bags.
