There are few things more satisfying than receiving a delivery of fresh flowers. Regardless of the occasion, flowers always put a smile on the face of the lucky recipient. Naturally, edible compositions are becoming increasingly popular and sought after for various occasions. The edible arrangements not only look fantastic, they also taste great and give the recipient even more to smile about! Best of all, you can create your own edible arrangement from scratch, ensuring your gift has that personal touch<\/a>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What you need:<\/b><\/h2>\n

– Ingredients for your favourite cake, biscuit or brownie recipe<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– Various colours of icing<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– Decorations for cakes\/cookies(i.e. sprinkles)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– A plate or cake stand to display<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– Cookie cutters if various shapes<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Instructions:<\/b><\/h2>\n

For cakes and brownies:<\/i><\/span><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • To make your edible arrangement, you will need to bake a large rectangular cake or brownie. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Once cooled, you can use the cookie cutters to cut the cake into shapes. Flowers are great because they will certainly look the part. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Set your cut out shapes aside as you go and, once you have them all ready, you can start to decorate. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Make sure that your icing is stiff enough that it will not start to run and use a piping bag to apply to your cut out brownies or cakes. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • If you like, you can add some sprinkles and other decorations to your designs. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Once you are all done, all you need to do is place your cakes on a platter or cake stand.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Finish off by adding a ribbon to bring it all together. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    For biscuits:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Once your cookie dough is ready, simply roll it out and use the cookie cutters to cut out the appropriate shape or shapes. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Bake your cookies before allowing them to cool <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Use your piping bag with icing and sprinkles to make your biscuits beautiful and special. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Arrange your biscuits on a stand or platter with a bow before presenting this edible arrangement. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      If you’d like, you can top your edible arrangement with berries for extra colour and flavour. Glazed fruit will keep for a lot longer than fresh fruit. Edible glitter paste is another great way of adding sparkle.
