Of course, if you have recently entertained some guests and you have some whisky left in the bottle, you can still <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prestigehampers.co.uk\/drinks-hampers\">put it to great use<\/a>. Here are some amazing recipes to try.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Shrimp<\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Ingredients:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Approximately 600g shrimp<\/li>\n<li>Half a bottle of whisky<\/li>\n<li>Butter<\/li>\n<li>Garlic (minced)<\/li>\n<li>Fresh dill<\/li>\n<li>6 tablespoons of Cr\u00e8me Fraiche<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Directions:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Start by melting the butter in a pan before adding the shrimps and garlic. You can add more or less garlic depending on your preferences.<\/li>\n<li>After the shrimp is browned, you can add the leftover whisky.<\/li>\n<li>Light the whisky on fire and allow the whisky to burn out.<\/li>\n<li>Next, add the Cr\u00e8me Fraiche and dill.<\/li>\n<li>Serve this scrumptious dish with a selection of trimmings of your choosing (salad is great).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Steak and whisky infused sauce<\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Ingredients:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>150ml double cream<\/li>\n<li>1 handful of diced button mushrooms<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bd teaspoons Dijon mustard<\/li>\n<li>enough whisky to cover the pan\u2019s surface<\/li>\n<li>2 delicious steaks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Directions:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare your steaks and cook them as per your usual preferences.<\/li>\n<li>Set the steaks in an ovenproof dish in the oven to keep warm.<\/li>\n<li>Fry up the diced mushrooms in the same pan you used to fry the steaks.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the leftover whisky over the mushrooms and allow to cool.<\/li>\n<li>Add the double cream and Dijon mustard once the pan has cooled.<\/li>\n<li>Add these juices to the steaks in the oven.<\/li>\n<li>Serve with your choice of trimmings.<\/li>\n<li>This recipe serves two so you can multiply it if you are serving more guests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Bourbon Balls<\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Ingredients:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Approximately 12 ounces of vanilla wafers (crushed)<\/li>\n<li>1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans<\/li>\n<li>2 \u00bd tablespoons light corn syrup<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons cocoa<\/li>\n<li>\u00be cup powdered sugar (and extra for rolling in)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup whisky (or more if you like)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Directions:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Combine the nuts, wafers, powdered sugar and cocoa in a large bowl before mixing well.<\/li>\n<li>Mix the leftover whisky and corn syrup together and mix well.<\/li>\n<li>Pour this whisky mixture over the wafer mixture and combine.<\/li>\n<li>Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.<\/li>\n<li>Roll these balls in powdered sugar.<\/li>\n<li>You can store in the fridge, in a sealed container, for up to 2 weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As you can see, there are some amazing recipes that will put any leftover whisky to great use.
