Since biscuits may not always hold up well once the package is opened, here are some important tips to help you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prestigehampers.co.uk\/pastry-hampers\">keep them fresher for longer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Soft biscuits<\/h2>\n<p>If you have some soft, delicious biscuits that you want to keep without the risk of them drying out or becoming overly soggy, you should place them in an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place. The less air comes into contact with these cookies, the better.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Crunchy biscuits<\/h2>\n<p>There are few things worse than having your favourite crunchy biscuits turn soft. Which is why you should ensure that you store them in a loosely shut cookie jar. They will need some ventilation but you don&#8217;t want to leave them out on a plate for days.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Arrange carefully<\/h2>\n<p>When arranging your cookies in a container or cookie jar, make suer that you pack these delicious biscuits with care. Don&#8217;t force in any more than will fit. If anything, you can use more than one container.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Store separately<\/h2>\n<p>Avoid mixing different types of biscuits together since they will tend to absorb strong aromas. So, if you have butter cookies or sugar cookies and you have some gingerbread, they should be kept separately to avoid everything tasting like ginger.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Consider freezing<\/h2>\n<p>If you have so many delicious biscuits that you don&#8217;t know what to do with them all, you can always freeze them in batches. Allow them to thaw out on your kitchen worktop and you will have a scrumptious sweet treat to enjoy with your tea!<\/p>\n<p>Apart from freezing and storing your delicious biscuits using the tips above, you can also store cookie dough in the freezer. So, if you make a large batch of dough, you don&#8217;t have to bake them all at once.
