Choose a theme<\/h2>\n

The first thing you need to do is choose a theme and colour scheme for your gift hamper<\/a>. If you are preparing a Christmas gift, you should choose goodies associated with this time of year. Traditional treats are ideal but you don’t need to include these alone. You can still add other luxury treats to the mix. In addition, you might like to choose a colour scheme. Red and white are popular colours for Christmas so you should look for goods with this kind of colour scheme on the packaging.<\/p>\n

Arrange and assemble<\/h2>\n

One you have selected all of the goods that you wish to add to your gift hamper, it’s time to arrange them just right. Much like a flower arrangement, your hamper should have a focal point. It will be the tallest point of the hamper and it is usually the centre. You can place something like a bottle of sparkling wine in the middle to catch the eye. Surround this bottle with some boxes of chocolates or biscuits, for example. Boxes make them stable and you can place them in an upright position to make them taller. Next, arrange the rest of your items to the sides and front of your focal point from tallest to shortest. This will make it easy for the recipient to see all of the goodies included without moving anything around. Time to wrap it up<\/h2>\n

After positioning each item in the perfect spot, it’s time to wrap your gift hamper. Use clear cellophane or even colourful cellophane if you prefer. Pull the four corners of the cellophane together to the tallest part of the hamper and secure with some clear tape or a rubber band. Once you are done, you can conceal the tape or rubber band with a pretty bow.<\/p>\n

All you need to plan after packing and packaging your gift hamper is to include a special card. The card does not need to be large but it should include a sincere message. Try to avoid clich\u00e9 phrases and try to make the card sound just like you instead.
