This means that you will need to take a moment to consider all the types of cheese you wish to serve as well as the best types of cheese tools with which to serve them. Not all types of cheese require the same cutting instruments. So here is what you should prepare for.<\/p>\n

Stone slab slicer<\/h2>\n

One of the most popular types of cheese tools is the stone slab with wire slicer. All you need to do is place your block of cheese on the slab and bring down the wire like a guillotine. You can adjust the block of cheese and position it in such a way that you can decide just how thick or thin you want your slice to be. This is ideal for softer cheeses since the wire will penetrate the cheese easily.<\/p>\n

Rollers with wire<\/h2>\n

Another way of cutting cheese is with a roller and wire. They are great for medium or semi-soft cheeses and these cheese tools allow you to consistently slice cheese with the same thickness. One downside is that cheese can accumulate on the roller so you will need to clean it from time to time during the event.<\/p>\n

Cheese knife<\/h2>\n

Finally, if you have cheeses that are fairly firm, you can opt for a regular cheese knife. They are great for slicing thicker slices and they are also really fast too. They are one of the most popular of all cheese tools because your guests can slice as much or as little cheese as they like with a single cut.<\/p>\n

Spreading cheeses<\/h2>\n

Cheese tools are not just for cutting. It’s important to make sure that you have the right knives for spreading too. If you plan on serving particularly soft cheeses, you should have knives with a rounded tip, much like butter knives.<\/p>\n

The right cheese tools will make all the difference for you and your guests. If you do not offer your guests the proper knives and slicing or spreading tools, you could end up with quite the clean up. If the knife is not suited for that type of cheese, it can result in the remaining cheese looking rather unsightly and your guests may stop eating it.
