Especially if you bake them yourself. Of course, every now and then, you might find yourself with some leftover cookies that are not as fresh and crumbly as they should be. There is no need to discard them since there are plenty of scrumptious ways in which you can put them to great use.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Ice cream sandwiches<\/h2>\n<p>If you love ice cream sandwiches, you can make them yourself with some delicious cookies and your favourite ice cream. Simply place some ice cream on a cookie and add another cookie on top. Wrap in some cling wrap and freeze for a few hours.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Cookie pie crust<\/h2>\n<p>For the perfect sweet pie crust, all you need is some delicious cookies. Crush them in a plastic bag and add some melted butter to ensure that it all sticks together and can be shaped into the base of your pie baking pan. Top with your favourite filling, bake and enjoy!<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Freeze for use later<\/h2>\n<p>Cookies can also be frozen if you aren&#8217;t planning on eating them all right away. Make sure you store them in vacuum sealed bags or airtight containers. Thaw them out in the fridge overnight and then place then place them on your kitchen worktop to thaw out completely before you serve.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Other delicious fillings<\/h2>\n<p>Apart from making ice cream sandwiches, you can also fill those delicious cookies with frosting or peanut butter to make scrumptious treats for the kids.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Use as a topping<\/h2>\n<p>Crumbled cookies can be used to top desserts like ice cream if you want to add sweetness and some extra crunch.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Truffles<\/h2>\n<p>If you grind up your leftover cookies and mix them with cream cheese, you can roll them up into truffles. They can be served along with other sweet treats or enjoyed all on their own.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Add to your milkshake<\/h2>\n<p>If you want a chunky milkshake, you can add some delicious cookies. Make sure that you crush them up into somewhat larger chunks so that they aren&#8217;t too small. Sprinkle on top of your milkshake or blend together \u2013 it&#8217;s all up to you.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Serve a variety<\/h2>\n<p>If you have a few boxes of opened cookies, there is no rule that says you cannot serve a variety the next time you host somebody for tea. In fact, it&#8217;s a good idea to offer more than one type of cookie so that your guest has a few choices.<\/p>\n<p>These are just a few great uses for delicious cookies so you never have to let them go to waste ever again!
