Not only are they easy to make, but they are delicious and you can get really creative while decorating them.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Ingredients:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>2 lbs apples<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/12 cups sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>12 oz semisweet chocolate (chopped)<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkles to decorate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Directions:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat your oven to 225F.<\/li>\n<li>Wash and dry your apples thoroughly before coring them.<\/li>\n<li>Line a baking sheet or two with parchment paper.<\/li>\n<li>Slice the apples crosswise to create rings.<\/li>\n<li>In a shallow dish, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.<\/li>\n<li>Dip the apple slices in this cinnamon and sugar mixture. Make sure that you coat both sides and shake off any excess.<\/li>\n<li>Place your coated apple slices on the lined baking sheets. Make sure that they do not overlap one another.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 90 minutes before turning and baking for a further 60 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from the oven once the apples are dry and just a little bit shriveled.<\/li>\n<li>Place the slices on cooling racks and allow to cool completely.<\/li>\n<li>Use a double boiler to melt your chocolate. Stir while the chocolate is melting to get rid of any lumps.<\/li>\n<li>When the chocolate is melted, dip the apple slices and allow excess chocolate to drip off. You will only dip the slices halfway so don&#8217;t worry, you won&#8217;t get your fingers full of chocolate.<\/li>\n<li>Place the coated slices on some wax paper and decorate with sprinkles while the chocolate is still in a melted state. Once it hardens, you can no longer decorate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As you can see, they are super easy to make and you only need a few basic ingredients. It is best to make these in larger batches because they will be eaten up faster that you know it!
