Temperature is one of the most important factors to consider when it comes to whisky storing. In fact, it is essential when storing any type of alcohol. If it gets too hot or cold, it can affect the quality of the whisky. Similarly, if there are significant fluctuations in room temperature, this can also ruin your whisky.<\/p>\n

Sunlight<\/h2>\n

Direct sunlight will cause the whisky to heat up and this ties in with the first whisky storing mistake. The light itself can also degrade the flavours of your whisky over a longer period. You will no longer enjoy the same delicate flavours and aromas.<\/p>\n

Upright<\/h2>\n

Wine is meant to be stored horizontally. However, when it comes to whisky storing, you need to keep the bottle upright.
