Refreshing, delicious and ideal for this time of year, you only need a few basic ingredients.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Punch recipe ingredients:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>2 bottles sparkling white wine<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup simple syrup (instructions and recipe included below)<\/li>\n<li>1 pear<\/li>\n<li>1 apple<\/li>\n<li>1 orange<\/li>\n<li>1 starfruit<\/li>\n<li>1 lime<\/li>\n<li>1 grapefruit<\/li>\n<li>Edible flowers for d\u00e9cor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Method:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Before you begin following this punch recipe, you need to make some simple syrup. You can make the amount needed for this recipe by combining half a cup of water with half a cup of sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Stir the sugar and water together over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and allow to cool before you continue with this recipe.<\/li>\n<li>Slice the citrus fruits in half.<\/li>\n<li>Extract the juice from one half of each of the fruit.<\/li>\n<li>Cut the other halves into thin slices.<\/li>\n<li>Cut the other fruit into thin slices or small chunks as well.<\/li>\n<li>In a punch bowl, mix the simple syrup and citrus juices as well as the pieces or fruit and the wine.<\/li>\n<li>Mix all of the ingredients together and top with edible flowers for extra colour.<\/li>\n<li>Serve chilled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A great tip to remember when making this punch recipe is to ensure that all of your ingredients are chilled. So, you can refrigerate the sparkling wine as well as your fresh fruit overnight just to be sure. Once you have made the punch, you need to store it in the refrigerator or place in an ice bowl to keep it chilled. You can also adjust the quantities if you want to make a smaller or larger batch. If you like, you can squeeze and slice extra fruit and keep it in the fridge.
