Panettone is a\npopular treat around this time of year but not everyone can or wants\nto make the full-sized version. So, instead, why not try making these\npanettone muffins?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients for panettone muffns:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>250g flour\n\t<\/li><li>7g dried yeast\n\t<\/li><li>100ml milk (warm)\n\t<\/li><li>3 eggs\n\t<\/li><li>1 tsp vanilla\n\t<\/li><li>50g caster sugar and extra for\n\tdusting\n\t<\/li><li>100g butter (softened)\n\t<\/li><li>1 orange (zested)\n\t<\/li><li>100g raisins\n\t<\/li><li>100g sultanas\n\t<\/li><li>100g mixed peel\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to make panettone muffins:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Mix together the flour, yeast, milk and a pinch of salt using your mixer with a dough hook. <\/li><li>Mix in two of the eggs and vanilla. <\/li><li>Knead until smooth and springy. <\/li><li>Cover and allow to rise for at least 2 hours (until doubled in size). <\/li><li>Place the dough in a mixing bowl again and add the sugar, butter and the yolk from the remaining egg. <\/li><li>Mix and knead until the dough is smooth again. <\/li><li>Add the fruit and knead quickly. <\/li><li>Cover and allow to rise somewhere cool so that the butter does not melt out of the dough. Allow to double in size (approximately 2 hours). <\/li><li>Line a muffin tin (with six holes) with paper cases. <\/li><li>Divide the dough into six equal portions and roll them into balls. <\/li><li>Place a ball in each paper case. <\/li><li>Cover the tine with a tea towel and allow the dough to rise again (about 20 minutes). <\/li><li>Heat your oven to 180C, brush the tops of the muffins with egg white before dusting with caster sugar. <\/li><li>Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the panettone muffins have risen and are golden brown. <\/li><li>Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This recipe is easy to follow and you can keep them for up to three days in an airtight container. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prestigehampers.co.uk\/hampers\/winter-wonderland?cPath=6\">Panettone <\/a>muffins are excellent for convenience and they make it so much easier to serve your younger family members too.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The holidays are fast approaching and it&#8217;s time to start planning your festive meals.
