The\nonly biscuits that are not ideal for this recipe are those with\nchips. This is mostly due to the texture and the fact that they won&#8217;t\ngive you that smooth surface to work with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Snowman biscuits ingredients:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For the biscuits:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>125g butter (softened)\n\t<\/li><li>125g caster sugar\n\t<\/li><li>1 egg (beaten)\n\t<\/li><li>1tsp vanilla\n\t<\/li><li>250g flour plus extra for dusting\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For decorating:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>400g white fondant\n\t<\/li><li>Icing sugar for dusting\n\t<\/li><li>100g mixed red, black, blue and\n\tyellow icing\n\t<\/li><li>Tube white icing (or you can make\n\tyour own)\n\t<\/li><li>Tube black icing (or you can make\n\tyour own)\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note, if you are not fond of\nicing, there are chocolate alternatives. You can substitute the white\nicing with white chocolate and each colour icing with that colour\nchocolate. Or, you can use a combination of the two if you prefer.\nSo, white chocolate for the base and icing for the colourful d\u00e9cor.\nThis recipe is very flexible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Directions for making snowman biscuits:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Preheat your oven to 180 degrees\n\tC.\n\t<\/li><li>Cream the butter and sugar\n\ttogether until pale and fluffy.\n\t<\/li><li>Add the beaten egg and vanilla.\n\t<\/li><li>Add the flout and mix until it\n\tbecomes a soft dough.\n\t<\/li><li>Tip out the dough onto a lightly\n\tfloured surface and knead gently.\n\t<\/li><li>Place the dough on a plate, cover\n\tand chill for a minimum of 2 hours.\n\t<\/li><li>Once ready, place the chilled\n\tdough on a lightly floured surface and roll out to a thickness of\n\tabout 0.5cm.\n\t<\/li><li>Cut round forms like a snowman&#8217;s\n\thead using a glass or round cookie cutter. This is a recipe for\n\tsnowman biscuits after all!\n\t<\/li><li>Bake on lined baking trays for 8 \u2013\n\t14 minutes or until the edges start to brown.\n\t<\/li><li>Allow to cool.\n\t<\/li><li>Roll out the white fondant icing\n\ton a surface dusted with icing sugar. Use the same glass or cookie\n\tcutter to cut out round shapes of white icing.\n\t<\/li><li>Apply some white icing from the\n\ttube to the biscuit and then stick the round fondant on top.\n\t<\/li><li>You can mix some yellow and blue\n\tfondant to create green if you don&#8217;t buy a green back all on its\n\town. \n\t\n\t<\/li><li>Now you can roll out one of the\n\tcoloured icings, like red, and stamp out circles again. Cut them in\n\thalf this time to use as hats. Place them on top of your snowman\n\tbiscuits and remember to secure with some tube icing sugar.\n\t<\/li><li>You an add stripes or spots of\n\tcolour to the hats using different coloured fondant. You can even\n\tplace a pom pom on top of their hats if you like.\n\t<\/li><li>Use black icing to make dots for\n\teyes and dotted mouths. Use some orange icing or fondant for the\n\tnose.\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There you have it! Easy snowman biscuits you can make this Christmas and you can be sure that your family will love them!
