Unfortunately, we cannot always visit our sick friends and family for a number of reasons. If this is the case, you can still let them know that you care by sending the most thoughtful <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prestigehampers.co.uk\/get-well-soon-hampers\">hospital gifts<\/a>. If you are not sure what to choose, here are some ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Boost their mood<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No matter the gift you choose, make\nsure that it looks great. When the gift looks good, it will impress\nthe recipient as soon as it arrives. Much like a fresh bouquet of\nflowers, hospital gifts that are bright and colourful will improve\nthe recipient&#8217;s mood and this is great for the healing process. The\nmind and body are very much connected so you want to help support and\nencourage healing by improving their mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Avoid alcohol<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This should go without saying, but when\nsending hospital gifts, you should avoid alcohol. Make sure that you\ntake the time to read the contents list of the gift basket or hamper\nand check for any alcoholic beverages. By sending alcohol to a\npatient in recovery, it can be considered thoughtless and even rude.\nSo do take care when selecting a gift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ask about their diet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to surprise the recipient\nbut you also want to make sure that you don&#8217;t send the wrong goodies,\nyou can always have a chat with their doctor or appropriate medical\nstaff. Let them know the name of the patient and ask them if there\nare any dietary restrictions. If there are many restrictions, ask\nabout sending something like a fresh fruit basket. Another great\noption is a pamper hamper. Just make sure that the gift includes\nproducts that the recipient can enjoy while still at hospital and not\nonly those that they will make use of at home (like bath bombs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Always put the needs of the recipient\nfirst when selecting hospital gifts. This will ensure that they can\nreally enjoy the goodies you send without worrying about any medical\nimplications.
