If you end up with lots of leftover nuts and you don&#8217;t want them to go to waste, you can use this recipe to make your very own nutty snack.<br \/>\nYou need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 cups leftover nuts<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup mixed seeds<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li>Honey for drizzling<\/li>\n<li>Sea salt flakes<\/li>\n<li>Herbs and spices of your choice (for example cumin seeds, pepper, rosemary and paprika). Use approximately 1 or 2 teaspoons of each.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Instructions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place your nuts and seeds in a large bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Drizzle some honey and olive oil over them.<\/li>\n<li>Mix the dry herbs and spices in a small bowl and sprinkle them over the nuts.<\/li>\n<li>Mix together properly so that all of your nuts are coated.<\/li>\n<li>Spread the nuts out onto a baking tray. Make sure that they don&#8217;t overlap.<\/li>\n<li>Place on the middle shelf in the oven (preheat to 180 degrees Celcius).<\/li>\n<li>Roast for about 10 minutes and make sure that you stir them every few minutes so that they are roasted evenly.<\/li>\n<li>Once slightly browned, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool down.<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t let them cook too much because they will continue to cook on the hot tray.<\/li>\n<li>Once cool, you can store for up to three days in an airtight container.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This recipe is for a small quantity but you can multiply the recipe if you like.
