They are favourites for kids but many of those who are young at heart also enjoy these refreshing treats. While some might think of lollies as unhealthy treats, you can make your own and use healthy ingredients instead.<br \/>\nGranola lollies<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 large mangoes (peeled, de-stoned, and chopped roughly)<\/li>\n<li>2 large bananas (peeled and chopped roughly)<\/li>\n<li>8 Tbsp coconut milk<\/li>\n<li>100g granola<\/li>\n<li>100g dark chocolate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Puree the fruit and coconut milk together in a blender until smooth. Pour the mixture into your lolly moulds and freeze (overnight is best). The following day, use a food processor to grind up the granola just a bit. Put the ground granola in a bowl. Melt the chocolate in another bowl. Now Remove the lollies from the moulds, dip into the chocolate and then in the granola. Allow to set on a tray lined with parchment paper. Enjoy or freeze until you&#8217;re ready to tuck in!<br \/>\nSweet sunshine ice lollies<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 large carrots<\/li>\n<li>Juice of 3 oranges<\/li>\n<li>Zest of 1 orange<\/li>\n<li>1 satsuma (peeled and chopped) optional<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Finely grate the carrots. Place them in the middle of a clean tea towel. Gather up the towel and squeeze the juice into a jug. Discard the pulp or you can set it aside to use in another recipe if you like. Another option is to use a juicer if you have one. Add the orange juice and, if necessary, add water so that you have 360ml of liquid. Stir in the pieces of satsuma and orange zest. Pour into the moulds and freeze overnight.<br \/>\nCreamy strawberry lollies<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>400g ripe strawberries<\/li>\n<li>200ml semi-skimmed milk<\/li>\n<li>405g can of light condensed milk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hull the strawberries and blitz them in a food processor. Once smooth, mix in the milk and condensed milk.Pour this mixture into your ice lolly moulds and freeze for at least 4 hours.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ice lollies are perfect for keeping cool in the summer.
