Strawberry, rum, peanut and raisin, and even caramel are all common chocolate flavours that can easily be found around the world. There are, however, a number of other flavours that are not quite as easy to find. When you come across them, however, you might not be keen to try them but you will certainly become curious!
\nWasabi dark chocolate by Lindt is an interesting combination. Since wasabi is known for being quite potent and spicy, it might not be everyone’s first choice in chocolate flavours but it certainly intriguing!
\nThe ginger chocolate bar by Green & Black is a delicious organic chocolate which will certainly clear those sinuses! If you’re looking for something less potent, you could try a lavender flavoured chocolate.
\nAnother spicy option is chili flavoured chocolate and, although it sounds like the spice would overpower the chocolate, they actually work really well together. The spicy aspect gives this chocolate a wonderful kick and the chocolate helps smooth it all out so it’s not too much for your taste buds. For many, this is the ideal chocolate for when you are trying to enjoy sweets in moderation.
\nIn Japan, Kit Kat has released two interesting flavours \u2013 namely Maccha Green and Gouda. The Maccha Green flavour is paired with white chocolate so that all the flavours are properly balanced. The Gouda Cheese flavour, on the other hand has an interestin smoky and salty flavour. Altough it’s popular in Japan, it might not do quite as well all over the world.
\nFinally, don’t forget about bacon flavoured chocolate. Again, a rather strange combination but strangely satisfying. Many will agree that it is an acquired taste which means that there’s usually a select few who will try and stick with this flavour.
