Here are a few easy coffee syrup recipes that will make your coffee an even more delicious treat!<br \/>\n<b>Vanilla Syrup:<\/b><br \/>\nIngredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 cup water<\/li>\n<li>Seeds of 1 vanilla bean (and the pod)<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Add the water, sugar, vanilla seeds and bean to a pot and place on your stove over a medium heat.<\/li>\n<li>Once boiling, remove from heat and allow to sit for 30 minutes to 2 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Add the vanilla extract.<\/li>\n<li>Pour through a fine sieve to remove any solid pieces like the vanilla seeds and pod.<\/li>\n<li>Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Caramel Syrup:<\/b><br \/>\nIngredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>\u00be cup water (divided)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp corn syrup<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Combine sugar and \u00bc cup of water along with the corn syrup in a pot over a low heat.<\/li>\n<li>Stir until dissolved and then turn up the heat to medium and cover with a lid.<\/li>\n<li>Allow to boil for about 2 to 3 minutes before stiring quickly by carefully.<\/li>\n<li>Continue stiring while cooking until the mixture turns light amber in colour.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from heat and then add the remaining water very carefully. It&#8217;s really hot so you may notice a violent splatter in the beginning.<\/li>\n<li>Stir the vanilla and salt in before allowing to cool.<\/li>\n<li>Store in the fridge for as long as a couple of months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Chocolate syrup:<\/b><br \/>\nIngredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder<\/li>\n<li>1 cup water<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1 Tbsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Whisk together the cocoaand sugar in a medium pot and add the water with half of the salt.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk over a medium heat until it starts to boil. Stir constantly.<\/li>\n<li>Taste the mixture and add more salt if desired.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from heat and add the vanilla before allowing to cool.<\/li>\n<li>Store in the fridge for a month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once you start making your own coffee syrup, you&#8217;ll wonder why you never tried this before!
