Of course, for those who are trying to watch what they eat, cake might not be on the menu. This is where a delicious watermelon cake comes in. This \u201ccake\u201d is easy to make and it&#8217;s lighter than your average cake that&#8217;s high in carbohydrates.<br \/>\n<b>You will need:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One watermelon<\/li>\n<li>Frosting of your choice<\/li>\n<li>Strawberries<\/li>\n<li>Blackberries<\/li>\n<li>Kiwis<\/li>\n<li>Sliced or crushed nuts<\/li>\n<li>Chocolate sprinkles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Method:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Start by cleaning your watermelon. You will need to cut off the top and the bottom. Then use something round as a guide to slice away the excess until you are left with a cylinder of watermelon without any of the skin.<\/li>\n<li>Coat your watermelon with icing and smooth it out. Let it set in the refrigerator until stiff. This will make it easier to work with.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle nuts along the side of the iced watermelon cake and then decorate with icing around the base to give your cake a nice finish.<\/li>\n<li>Around the top, decorate the edge with strawberry halves. Follow this will a ring of blackberries and thn a few slices of kiwi.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle with chocolate flakes and enjoy!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a wonderful treat for weekends, parties, and even when you just feel like spoiling yourself and your family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cake is always delicious after a meal and even in between meals.
