The best part of all is that you can make as much or as little as you need and it&#8217;s really simple too!<br \/>\n<b>You will need:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wine of your choice (preferably red)<\/li>\n<li>Regular white sugar (for every 3 cups of wine, add 1 cup of sugar)<\/li>\n<li>Other flavours like cinnamon sticks, cloves, fresh ginger, vanilla beans, or star anise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Method:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place your wine and sugar in a wide saucepan or skillet.<\/li>\n<li>Bring this mixture to a boil before reducing the heat and allowing to simmer.<\/li>\n<li>If you plan on adding any flavours, you should add them and allow them to simmer along with the wine and sugar.<\/li>\n<li>You will need to let it simmer until it reaches the proper thick consistency. It should reduce to about one third of the original volume.<\/li>\n<li>If you added cinnamon sticks, vanilla, or any other flavours, you should strain your wine syrup before allowing it to cool.<\/li>\n<li>Once cooled to room temperature, pour into a bottle and refrigerate.<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy as desired<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This syrup is wonderfully versatile. Here are some great ways of enjoying it with your favourite foods:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lightly drizzled over grilled stone fruits (like peaches or nectarines) or fresh berries.<\/li>\n<li>Swirl into some plain Greek yogurt or an ice cream with a very mild flavour.
