It&#8217;s such a shame to throw away this nutritious and delicious treat. So, here are some great ways of putting that pulp to good use:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blend the pulp a bit finer and add it to your favourite smoothie for more flavour, thickness, and fibre.<\/li>\n<li>Add any vegetable pulp (like carrots) to your soup to make it thicker.<\/li>\n<li>Make frozen fruit popsicles.<\/li>\n<li>Add to boiling water and some spices like cinnamon to make a kind of \u201cfruit tea\u201d. Strain before you drink.<\/li>\n<li>Make fruit leathers. These are strips of dried fruit.<\/li>\n<li>Add to baked goods like cakes, breads, or muffins.<\/li>\n<li>Add to cookies or make granola bars.<\/li>\n<li>Spice up your pancakes by adding pulp to the mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Make marmalade or jam.<\/li>\n<li>Dehydrate the pulp and use like you would breadcrumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Use for beauty treatments like face scrubs, masks, and in soap recipes.<\/li>\n<li>Use as animal food.<\/li>\n<li>Add to your compost heap if you&#8217;re not planning on eating it.<\/li>\n<li>Make ice cubes out of the pulp and use them later.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can also choose to use a single kind of pulp or several kinds of pulp in each application. Smoothies, for example, taste even better when you mix it up a little.
