They are most well-known for their bright colours but the flavour is also out of this world! F you have ever wondered how to make these delicious treats, here&#8217;s an easy recipe with just 4 ingredients!<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">3 egg whites<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">\u00bc cup white sugar<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">1 2\/3 cups confectioners sugar<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">1 cup almonds (finely ground)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">colouring of your choice<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Method:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Line your baking tray with a piece of parchment paper and make circles on the sheet using a <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">\u00a32 coin. Flip the parchment paper over so that you don&#8217;t place your macaroon mixture on the side with the ink!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Beat the egg whites in a bowl. It&#8217;s best to use an automatic mixer with the stand and whisk all in one. Continue beating the eggs until they are foamy.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Add the white sugar to the eggs until the mixture becomes fluffy and glossy. The mixture should be stiff enough to form peaks. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">In a separate bowl, blend the finely ground almonds and confectioners sugar. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Run this mixture through a sieve and press the larger pieces through the holes to make sure that you have a fine mixture.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Add the colouring if you are planning to use any.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Add the egg mixture to the almond mixture and fold the two together until blended. Take care not to overdo it. If possible, complete this step in 30 folds or less.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Attach a piping fitting to your piping bag and fill the bag up with your macaroon mixture.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Pipe the mixture into the shape of the discs drawn on the parchment paper.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">You can secure the parchment paper to your baking tray by using some of the macaroon mixture on each corner!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Allow them to sit at room temperature until a kind of skin forms over the top.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Bake at 140 degrees C for about 10 minutes.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Allow to cool before adding a filling.
