Hot chocolate is a delightful sweet treat that many of us adore during the cold months of winter. As delicious as it is, the same flavour can become boring over time. Fortunately, there are a number of fantastic tips to help transform ordinary hot chocolate into something new and exciting!

\nConsidering all the chocolate and coffee combos out there, it should come as no surprise that these two compliment each other perfectly. So, the next time you can\u2019t decide between hot chocolate and coffee, have both! Simply brew some coffee and add a couple of spoons of hot chocolate to your mug of hot coffee. Mix it properly for the flavours to blend.

\nSyrups<\/strong>
\nWhen you visit your favourite coffee shop, you will notice that there are a number of amazing flavoured syrups on the market. Although many people enjoy adding these to their coffee, you can also use them in hot chocolate. Some popular flavour options include vanilla, cinnamon, almond, hazelnut, and even coconut.

\nCinnamon and nutmeg are both fantastic spice options for hot chocolate. You can even use a bit of both if you prefer. \nTruffles are delicious all on their own but they can also spruce up any cup of hot chocolate. When you add just one truffle to a steaming cup of hot chocolate, it will melt slowly and create an even creamier result.
